How does it work?
You can subscribe to regular deliveries, thus maximizing your contribution to the fight against food waste. With this subscription you'll always have fresh produce at home. At Equal Food we also value flexibility for our customers and, if you're not at home for one or more weeks, you can always reschedule at any time and at no cost.
If, for the time being, you'd rather just buy a basket , just choose the "single purchase" option.
Does our subscription have a loyalty period?
No. Our subscription has no lock-in period and at any time you can cancel the subscription, or suspend the service for a certain period of time. This suspension can be changed at any time and as often as you wish, just send us an e-mail to hello@equalfood.co.
Can I schedule my delivery?
Unfortunately we are unable to make appointments. We send out the timetable every Monday. If you haven't received your e-mail by 6 p.m. with this information, please contact us (sometimes this e-mail ends up in spam, so please check that folder as well).
Is it possible to change the address, suspend/cancel delivery or change the model of basket?
We are happy to make any of these changes, as long as you send us an e-mail to orders@equalfood.co or hello@equalfood.co by 11.59pm on the Sunday before you place your order. After this date we are no longer able to make these changes.
When will I receive my basket of standard fruit and vegetables?
Our deliveries take place every Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and 8pm.
We deliver in the municipalities of Lisbon, Oeiras, Cascais, Sintra, Odivelas, Amadora, Almada, Seixal, Loures, Vila Franca de Xira, Mafra,Barreiro, Moita, Montijo, Palmela, Alcochete, Setúbal. In addition to the Lisbon and Tagus Valley region, we also deliver to the Porto region(Porto, Matosinhos, Maia, Valongo, Vila Nova de Gaia, Gondomar).
More recently we've reached the districts of Leiria, Santarém, Coimbra and Braga!!!
We advise you to keep an eye on our emails. On Monday afternoon you will receive an email with the day of the week and the time when you will receive your basket.
Please place your order before 23:59 on Sunday to receive your basket the following week.

Can I place a personalized order for my basket?
At the moment you can choose between a basket with free-range eggs OR a vegan basket with a bag of mushrooms. As for the rest of the fresh produce, we always do our best to include a wide variety of fruit and vegetables to keep everyone happy. These change every week, according to the regional and seasonal harvest. At the moment, we are unable to accommodate individual preferences.
What happens if I'm not home at the time of delivery?
As we know that routine often makes it impossible to be at home during the day, we don't want that to stop you from receiving your fresh, imperfect vegetables and fruit at home. So, if no one is home at the time of delivery, we can leave your basket at your door, if you feel comfortable with that, as long as you let us know in advance.
